“Statue of Freedom is a classical female figure with long, flowing hair wearing a helmet with a crest composed of an eagle’s head and feathers. She wears a classical dress secured with a brooch inscribed “U.S.” Over it is draped a heavy, flowing, toga-like robe fringed with fur and decorative balls. Her right hand rests upon the hilt of a sheathed sword wrapped in a scarf; in her left hand she holds a laurel wreath of victory and the shield of the United States with 13 stripes.”

The Statue of Freedom’s crested helmet and sword, suggesting she is prepared to protect the nation, are more commonly associated with Minerva or Bellona, Roman goddesses of war. The history of the statue’s design explains why she wears a helmet rather than a liberty cap. The story of her casting reveals that some of the people who worked to create Freedom were not themselves free.”

in conversations about where do people outsource their saturn and get into tyrannical structures

a friend said, anytime you get Demons and Angels, you have polarity, soon you’ll have a priesthood
 
predator – prey relationship … eventually, everyone is smarter

I spoke with my friend Robinette Kennedy, practitioner of trance postures (disguised as a psychologist now)
she is great pragmatic mystic, rural Georgia to Crete
so i asked her, what are you doing?
she says, the most magic things right now are the most practical things
(yes, in accord with the stars)
she said they are sending out postcards with information and handwritten Jupiterian blessings
call anyone you know in Georgia and ask them their plans, Saturn, do they need an ride to the polls
… part of this new, emergent Georgia is an attitude because we have infrastructure 
(Saturn – dedicated to collective good)
 
Saturn and Jupiter coming closer and closer in the SW sky, until Dec 21st – when they will look like one star 
 
Robinette said I am a very realistic person but I have much confidence in happiness emerging from the ordeal
 
December 14th is when the electoral college convenes, and an eclipse

but who would we like to focus on?
 
The Statue of Freedom is wild in her own way, indigenous symbols smuggled in (feathers, eagle) 
she’s right on top of the Capitol 
DC is full of actual structural metaphors 
that some say are awaiting conscious animation

so what is the antidote to the toxic imprisoning con?
the liberating authentic!
so our assignment is to invite in the liberating authentic
 
and part of the Winter Solstice is for trickster to come into everyone’s heart, not just one persons

and it can be difficult to see possibilities
primal fear, marvel, awe … and then stars – possibilities

    Thank you, team, for your good thoughts and well wishes and for holding space for my meltdown last night. The inaugural mediation this morning went as smoothly as it probably could, given who we’re dealing with. We really liked the mediator, a progressive, no bullshit, good humored guy with decades of experience and also extensive interest in and experience with alternative healing modalities. Eric’s lawyer is consistently awesome, and she was great today, too. Eric did a stellar job, staying centered, solid, and clear, with good words. And I felt protected and more relaxed than expected, given that I’ve hardly slept a wink in five days and have been running on fumes. With much gratitude and love to all, Carmen

    Eryn, Could we have the “map” for a next gathering? I did not find the map but did find the chapter in the book wherein the land projects call out their names. It might be good to bring them into the “cabinet” for our politicians/ who are ourselves.

    Tossed into roaring home-fires at 8:33 CT all scraps of paper with wording from our last council intended for THE cauldron, along with many scraps of my own.
    Seeing FREEDOM rising with the smoke & out into the ethereal wherewithal ( heading toward Saturn and Jupiter !) Feeling resonance with all good-hearted here and beyond.
