No, this isn’t a carefully crafted coup. It is not even controlled chaos. It is a campus riot after a football victory by adrenaline crazed juvenile junkies.
Neither of them have “evolved brains”, they operate by their gonads and primitive, caveman-level impulses. They are not chess masters, they play Hungry-Hungry-Hippos. They are not sophisticated jewel thieves, they are smash-and-grab vandals. They are not robber barons, but mafia thugs, not saviors but savages.
Neither one knows what the other is doing – or cares – and the Project 2025 playbook is being trampled on the floor, while they charge madly into illegal territory and then have to walk it back.
They are attacking in all directions at once, encroaching even on their allies, something other would-be emperors have regretted. They are wasting precious time, abandoning their advantage by seeking personal revenge. They are making unnecessary enemies of those who preferred to be neutral.
And they are not making their own territory stronger. They are not redirecting all the might of their conqests, to build an arsenal and a fortress around them – instead they are tearing everything down, destroying and gutting it. They are giving no thought as to how the incompetent people they are installing are supposed to run the place with only rubble left behind, and only a handful of frankly delusional “true believers” to command.
“True believers”, not of America, but of their Idols.
People driven, not by patriotism, or Christian charity or lofty ideals, but by personal grievance or jealousy or ambition.
And while all these people, and their two leaders, are reveling in the power of their mob right now, that kind of power has historically shown to be fleeting. Such people are held together not by love for each other, but by shared anger and hatred. As soon as any one falters or fails, they will be turned on, devoured or cast out.
Eventually the survivors will end up holed up in the bunker, each of them looking for a way out. Each of them willing to do ANYTHING for their personal survival.
Each of them willing to betray the others.
