Mercury Stationing…..
Direct Wednesday –
Mercury’s Day
January 18th
8+ Capricorn –
Mercury assuming the form of an “Angel Carrying a harp”
Remembering to listen…
to the angel…
Pertinent saying arising from antiquity:
“Never corrected error, error is the way gods spoke…”
especially of late…
Robert Anton Wilson:
“This system begins with a date around the first dawnings of civilization, allows us to see all history as a single sequence, not interrupted by an artificial minus-to-plus changeover to commemorate the god of a single weird cult… “The Illuminati chronology (year one A.L. or 4000 BCE Gregorian) begins with the birth of Hung Mung, the ancient Chaoist (pre-Taoist), Chinese philosopher who answered all questions by shouting loudly,
“I don’t know! I don’t know!”
A deeper honoring of Mercury/Thoth/Hermes
from my colleague Steve Earley’s (aka Martin Goldsmith’s) manuscript on Egyptian decans:
“Hermes with Thoth. This last identification engendered a new
mystery religion based on the composite god Hermes/Thoth, who came
to be known as Hermes Trismegistus—or “Hermes, Thrice Great.” This
new religious tradition centered on magic, and in this sense had more
to do with Thoth than it did with Hermes, since Thoth, as scribe of the
Egyptian gods, presided over all the temple rituals, as well as the magical
formulas accompanying these rituals. In Hermopolis Magna, Thoth
was worshipped as the Creator god. He was pictured as an all-powerful
magician, who called things into being by the mere sound of his
voice.Hermeticism—the religion of Hermes Trismegistus—had a strong
metaphysical component, but was essentially a tradition of magic. The
Egyptians were renowned throughout the world for their magic. Thus,
not long after the Greek conquerors arrived, they began to translate
Egyptian magical spells into Greek. Since it was already the Egyptian
habit to attribute all spells and sacred literature to Thoth, the Greeks,
by way of imitation, began to produce a magical literature that was
written under the name “Hermes Trismegistus.” Many of these
Greek books of spells have come down to us. This Hermetic literature
represents Hermes Trismegistus in the same broad strokes as the
Egyptian Thoth: he is the creator of heaven and earth and presides
over fate, justice, death, and the afterlife. He is also the guardian of
magical knowledge, and the divinatory and ritual practices through
which this information could be gained.”Giordano Bruno “openly championed
the Egyptian Neoplatonism of the Hermetica. Frances Yates tells us that
Bruno was trying to reform Christianity by marrying it with the magical
religion of the Egyptians. He may have even wanted to replace Christianity with Egyptian solar worship. He was especially committed to
the idea that the divine spirit was immanent in animals and plants—an
idea that had a central place in the ancient Egyptian religion.29
Bruno included the “Egyptian” decans in several of his books, using
a version of the decan-symbols taken from Cornelius Agrippa. Bruno
emphasized the magical nature of the decans, and wasn’t that interested
in their use in conventional astrology. For Bruno, the decans were
part of the magical lore of ancient Egypt.”

Let’s all recite together tonight….
(We be dusting off and re-membering everything we ever studied, re-arising now.)
The Emerald Tablet of Hermes
True, without falsehood, certain and most true, that which is above is as that which is below, and that which is below is as that which is above, for the performance of the miracles of the One Thing. And as all things are from One, by the mediation of One, so all things have their birth from this One Thing by adaptation. The Sun is its father, the Moon its mother, the Wind carries it in its belly, its nurse is the Earth. This is the father of all perfection, or consummation of the whole world. Its power is integrating, if it be turned into earth.
Thou shalt separate the earth from the fire, the subtle from the gross, suavely, and with great ingenuity. It ascends from earth to heaven and descends again to earth, and receives the power of the superiors and of the inferiors. So thou hast the glory of the whole world; therefore let all obscurity flee before thee. This is the strong force of all forces, overcoming every subtle and penetrating every solid thing. So the world was created. Hence were all wonderful adaptations, of which this is the manner. Therefore am I called Hermes Trismegistus, having the three parts of the philosophy of the whole world. What I have to tell is completed, concerning the Operation of the Sun.
Earth Dragon!
Mercury be MLK’s one Air planet… 11+ Aquarius (Myriad view points, as from a Mountain, for his sturdy Mountain Goat…)
a Dream – a big dream Jupiter trine Neptune in earth… a big dream handed to us to Earth….as an on-going assignment…
And when he was assassinated, April 4, 1968 at 6:01 pm in Memphis
Mercury was at 26+ Pisces, “A Vision of Peace,”
exactly trining Neptune at 26+ Scorpio…
But much more than the Dream speech, that has been used to tame down his deep dedication
Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, but he gave numerous other powerful speeches.
Here’s Mercury:
“For those who are telling me to keep my mouth shut, I can’t do that,” he said at the end of his speech. “I’m against segregation at lunch counters, and I’m not going to segregate my moral concerns. And we must know on some positions, cowardice asks the question, ‘Is it safe?’ Expediency asks the question, ‘Is it politic?’ Vanity asks the question, ‘Is it popular?’ But conscience asks the question, ‘Is it right?’ And there’re times when you must take a stand that is neither safe nor politic nor popular, but you must do it because it is right.”

“I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” – Memphis, Tennessee on April 3, 1968
Just one day before he was assassinated, King gave his final speech “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop.” He gave the speech to a packed church of workers protesting working conditions. In the talk, the reverend emphasized his main beliefs: unifying African Americans and the importance of nonviolent protests.
But the speech is most known for being oddly prophetic, seeming to predict his death just the next day, highlighting the fact that he has accepted his fate.
“Well, I don’t know what will happen now,” King said in his final speech. “We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn’t matter with me now, because I’ve been to the mountaintop. Like anybody I would like to live a long life, longevity has its place, but I’m not concerned about that now … And I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land.”
He ended the speech with: “I’m happy tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man. My eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.”

Eardley again:
“We are used to the dead inhabiting an underworld that is basically in another dimension. The ancient Egyptians, by contrast, saw very little divide between the physical and astral realms.”
Our Mercury quintiles Neptune,
Our Jupiter 3+ Aries is exactly MLK’s Uranus (sometimes referenced as the higher octave of Mercury)… His ardent revolutionary self…
Our Pluto quintiles Chiron- that we be “crafting the future by gazing at the caravan of our past mentors…” (Deborah Felmeth)
So let’s remember and gaze
