What is this realm we call “politics?”

 

Some people occasionally say that they are “apolitical.”

No such thing, I quip, yet here’s an easy fix, by reciting the following 2 woofy invocations, or any customized version thereof, one is sufficiently

“political” to not be an “idiot.” (Word comes from “idiotis,” Greek, meaning one who is such a ding-bat as to not be dedicated to collective well-being.”

 

* “May anything up-to-no-good be revealed, rendered harmless and (in the fullness of time) be an occasion for mirth!

 

and

 

* “Let whatever is truly best for all beings —come on in!”

 

There you have voted! (minimally, but sufficiently) and devoted, and thus performed an act of resonant magic..

Mars is our sense of “Get Up and GO!” It is the capacity to take action and do; it represents being in motion. It can also affect our temperament.

Aha! the rising sign is “two men placed under arrest – accountability.” So whom, for the benefit of their soul, would we like “arrested.”

 

There’s Trumpelstiltskin, of course, who, like the eponymous fairy tale demon, grows red-faced with pique, stamps his foot so hard that he plunges into a redemptive underworld. But not until he’s fulfilled his quirky mission (fill in the blank: dredged all poison to surface, inadvertently blurted out truths, destroyed the two party system, educates the Coyote populace to discern the distinction between conman and Trickster, that the former imprisons, throws apart, the meaning of dia-bolic – the latter liberates, symbolic, tosses together, unifies…)
