So Mars was radiating through the Moon last night…

Big Mama Lunar Woofiness filtering Mars , that woof be in service to honoring and protecting life…

The Pleiades (1885) Elihu Vedder

And the Full Moon was aligned with the Pleiades!
– the 7 Sisters, “daughters of the Night”….
Figuring prominently in virtually all mythologies…
In Ukraine they are Women Tribal Leaders…

“In both myth and science, the Pleiades are sibling stars. Modern astronomers say the stars were born from the same cloud of gas and dust some 100 million years ago.”

Raphael Warnock:
What a great human!
Our Black Gospel King Arthur
(Sun Mercury early Leo, sextile Jupiter Uranus in early Libra, making him available to Pluto’s entrance into Aquarius next year…
Constellating Community, convening the round table.)

(His Venus in Gemini quintiles Chiron
– so he be-)
Senator Mentor

Upon election Raphael embodied all of the above:
“A vote is a prayer”
Faith in action
“democracy is the political enactment of a spiritual idea – that we are each created with a spark of the divine…”

Quoted High John:
“find a way outa no way”

Then proclaimed
“I am the Land!”
(Like the witch Tiffany Achen saying thus. “I am the land, I am your witch.”

Raphael invoked John Lewis…
Here John’s last words, spoken by Morgan Freeman…
always so moving and essential guiding…
“Ride with the wind brothers and sisters, Ride with the Wind…”

Mike Tyson says psychedelics saved his life, now he hopes they can change the world {Reuters}

“LOS ANGELES, May 28 (Reuters) – During his reign as heavyweight champion of the world, no one was more feared than Mike Tyson, who obliterated opponents with ruthless efficiency.

But all the while, the troubled superstar was at war with himself, battling an abusive voice in his battered head that led “Iron Mike” to the brink of suicide.

He said that all changed when he began taking psilocybin mushrooms, more commonly known as “magic mushrooms,” and other similar consciousness-altering substances.

Now the boxing prodigy from Brooklyn is experiencing a career renaissance that he said is the result of psilocybin-powered mental and spiritual exploration.

“Everyone thought I was crazy, I bit this guy’s ear off,” an upbeat Tyson told Reuters, referring to his infamous 1997 fight against Evander Holyfield.
“I did all this stuff, and once I got introduced to the shrooms … my whole life changed.”

Nothing more crucial than for our rogue species to have manners whereby to humbly cooperate with Nature’s Guiding Genius…
to mend our collaborative treaties across species borders…

to have re-spect-

“Animism – not a belief – just good manners.”

“We can’t have enough books about this wonderful creature—and this one is particularly strong on the remarkable history of the animal in our continent’s history and imagination. A loud slap of the tail in approval!”
—Bill McKibben

Welcome Leila Philip,

all this within the context of human caused massive dis-equilibrium…

Her Mother’s death,
with the added poignancy

“I was still haunted by the memory of the February
day when my mother died; that night spring peepers had come out,
their haunting cries filling the woods a good month early. The apple trees
had bloomed too early as well— although that meant I had been able to
fill the church with their blooms for her funeral. An early spring was not
unheard of in New England, but the new pattern of dramatic temperature swings was due to climate change. Then there was the rain. This May it has rained for twenty- two of the past thirty days and the usually tame Mohawk is a torrent. If beavers were still in the landscape as they were in the time of Beaverland would the Mohawk be flooding this high?”

below, excerpts from Beaverland…

“What is it about interspecies connection that enables us to feel that our world has suddenly expanded to something so much larger than what we could know on our own?”

“Beavers are hope,” commented Koenigsberg when I called her one
day to ask about her work. “We are watching the West burn and the East
Coast float away. Climate change is here. We can either moan and groan
or make things better.”

“When you have a hurricane,” says Boucher, “you build shutters to keep
the windows from flying off. In our current climate, putting beavers in the landscape is like putting more two‑by‑fours in your roof: It is storm prevention, and it is also water cleansing and increased biodiversity. Most of all, you have to remember that each of those wetlands functions like a storm water detention pond.”

His analogy of storm shutters resonates. You put shutters on before a storm to keep the windows from blowing out; you put beavers in the landscape before a storm because their wetlands serve as huge sponges to absorb floodwater.”

“One million years ago, beavers the size of bears roamed North
America. They pose an evolutionary puzzle, like the platypus, or birds,
which share some DNA with dinosaurs. When they dive, they seem more
like marine mammals than terrestrial species, more seal than rodent. Their dexterous forepaws look startlingly human with their five nimble fingers and naked palms. They groom their lustrous fur with catlike fastidiousness.

Their mammalian beauty ends abruptly in the gooselike hind feet, each as wide as the beaver’s head. The feet are followed by a reptilian tail, which, it has been observed, looks like the result of some terrible accident, run over by a tractor tire, the treads leaving a pattern of indentations that resemble scales. Part bear, part bird, part monkey, part lizard, humanoid hands, an aquatic tail. Is it any surprise that beavers have fired the human imagination in every continent that they are found?”

Woodstock, Connecticut, founded 1686, population 7,862. We have
six dairy and beef farms in Woodstock, a bison herd, a commercial fruit
orchard, and a multitude of backyard vegetable gardens. Forty percent of
the woodland is wetland, which keeps the developers at bay. It’s the quiet
corner of Connecticut, the last corridor of dark night sky between Washington and Boston.

“But are beavers intelligent creatures? It’s a mystery. Throughout history,
humans have studied their lodges and dams and canals, their skills at felling and transporting trees, their expertise at engineering. When three or four work together, they can roll a hundred- pound boulder and set it in their dam. Perhaps, like ants and bees, they have a kind of intelligence that we as humans simply cannot fathom.”

“Dorothy Richards determined to save the beavers on her property
and went on to dedicate her life to their study, working tirelessly on education and outreach. In her tiny farmhouse, with special permission from the state, since beavers are wild animals, Richards took care of a pair of beavers and their progeny.

Her slim memoir, Beaversprite: My Years Building an Animal Sanctuary, details her years with these successive generations of beavers and all that she learned about them. On one page she smiles broadly as she sits in her chair, an elderly woman by then, a huge beaver filling her lap.

The beaver is sitting up, staring at her devotedly as it calmly holds an apple with both hands, eating. In another photograph she is seated at a table, “having lunch” across from her favorite beaver, a female she named Eager.

The beaver sits in a chair at the table, upright on her hind legs in order to
reach a plate of carrots. the beaver seems to grin with the joie de vivre of a golden retriever, the strong legs and duck feet sprawled across Dorothy’s knees in absolute trust and comfort. Her thin arms balance the beaver, but he leans back into her, lounging as he looks bright- eyed right into the camera. He isn’t afraid of the person taking the photograph because it is Dorothy’s husband, Al, who wasn’t keen on having beavers move in with them at first, but then got used to them. This is Eager, Dorothy’s favorite of the many generations of beavers that lived with her over the course of forty years.”

***** “We could slow the rate of our planet’s warming
if we acted fast enough to start reducing the global emission of carbon,
but we could only prevent more damage. We are facing a future in which
we will witness loss and change in the places we love, and it was foolish
to ignore this, but it was just as foolish to relinquish hope. As a species,
we humans had our flaws, and beavers weren’t going to solve our environmental problems, but when it came to water—
the lack or overabundance of which, that was certainly going to define our future— beavers could make a difference.”

So, we have averted the worst authoritrarina Nazi night mare ,
now down to a manageable size…

So let us align with Mars! whose image today is “Woman gives rousing speech on behalf of the earth…”
Let us be that woman, regardless of temporary age, race, gender assignment…”
