 So, at our customary time of convening, I will be at
Sally Quinn’s book party honoring the publication
of her memoir “Finding Magic,” in which I do
play a significant part. I have been “her astrologer,”
astro*mytho* guide, since 1979, right after her
marriage to Ben Bradlee, editor of the Washington Post,
flush from Watergate. Always aspiring to let the beautiful
language of astrology guide her to her… with varying
degrees of success, for truly we are all befoibled.

Sally, double-Cancer, constellating the clan council,
a throng of performers in the D.C. cognoscenti
mystery play will be there.

So, as Chief Trickster at Coyote Network News,
it is my “weird to dree” to cover this event, my beat…
(will file scouting reports)

Wherever the path may open for Trickster….hee-hee….

I feel influence and serendipitous synchronicity is available
(to all of us, where’er we be) ; and while certainly
not “expecting” anything, let us be completely
“willing!”… to invite in Trickster!

Here comes you/Us Guys/Gaias,
agents of Liberating Trickster,
stirring the cauldron in the other direction,
with much cackling, wise-cracking, muttering, jaunty glee,
and general yip-yipping, ladling wildly unlikely desirable
spirals, and setting them spinning into the memosphere…
the spirals themselves emitting raucous laughter as they waft…

(Heard a smidge of a woman who gave a Ted Talk on
“Why We Laugh.” And when she was asked, why,
sometimes, when people smoke grass they would they
be overwhelmed with laughter… Making outsiders
wary…”Nonsense. Why are they laughing, at what?”
And the scholar of laughter said…”Marijuana seems to
relax societally conditioned inhibition… And ‘tis a natural
inclination of our species to laugh a lot. We are meant to be
a laughing species.” Which is adorable.)

A toast!

to rally the team…

We see the path unfurling – to bring
Trickster into all circumstance.

Venus and Mars are re-wedding all that’s been
falsely estranged, intellect and language craft in cahoots
with the rising Moon and Neptune-mystery of magic
(“a willingness to cooperate with everything.”)

 

In all our lives, and circumstances
May Positive Intrigue Abound,
in Reciprocal Blessing,
Let us Encourage:
