In mythic life those who survive the Underworld Journey become Trickster liberators, presiders at Summer of the wedding of all that’s been falsely estranged.
We gather with the vitality of the New Moon in Gemini – slowing way down to speed up – Back Stage to this most dynamic Summer in our life-times.
Let’s animate the Grand Square now moving into place, with which, by stepping into the center of the storm, we aspire to be in dynamic accord…
Yo team, reporting in from post Harmony Festival, in Santa Rosa California, and joining us on call from Anchorage will be my favorite co-cahooter, collaborator David Grimes.

How do we hold the balance, wed all polarity within and without. between Venus and Mars – the dance of the yab and the yum
and Saturn – Jupiter-Uranus (tossing Pluto in the middle) dedicating to be agents of inspired liberating reverent ingenuity.
We honor the instructions of Mars trining Pluto, as Venus enters Leo and trines Jupiter and Uranus at the first degree of the zodiac.
Mars in Virgo trine Pluto guides us to honor the little beings, microbial allies,
and linguistic precision to guide the energy.
Venus-Jupiter-Uranus brings in a tide of theatrical creativity to inspire us to action.
in cahoots with Saturn, just now returned to 28+ degrees, “re-assembling an ancient manuscript,” to give fresh expression to ancient guiding stories provided by Nature.
And of course Pluto is welcome in his dual function as both marrying minister, marriage counsellor while proffering us a composting cauldron into which we toss, all impedments to joy.

Thank you for tonight. It was very meaningful.
Indeed, last night was very nutritious.
While contemplating last night’s discussion, I recalled the commentary in the end of ‘The Disobedience of the Daughter of the Sun’ by Martin Prechtel. He states that there was a person recording the songs of hummingbirds and whales and realized they were remarkably similar–they were just singing in very differnet octaves!
I was also contemplating the heart of Afganistan as they ponder the discovery of great riches below the topsoil: oil, natural gas and other minerals valused in the trillions, per perntagon sources. Will they rip up the ancient heartland of Rumi and our other ancestors? What will this mean for the US involvement there?
I have been doing alot of research regarding Hemp; its origin in central Asia, how its growth restores the topsoil (it s a colonizing plant..!) and its oil can be used in place of pertoleum products. After the seed is squeezed for its oil, the byproduct is a food for farm animals. Then there is its use for fabric and paper…but so much of its consideration gets mixed up with marijuana and its social dis-reputation (if I can put it that way); However, we still can’t seem to figure out to do with our excess corn…
Finally, a small acting lesson: when building a character, the actor is encouraged to look at the character’s polar opposites. Playing the polar opposites of a character add depth and interest to the story–as people are unpredictable in their actions. The self-examining homework was to identify your own polar opposites–quite the psychologic word problem! I offer up this examination as we square-dance this weekend!
