Readying to Ride the Dragon!

“Some things are always true, but at times they are truer”…The flow of astrological patterns quickens qualities, and proffers their gifts to our willingness.
We prepare for Chinese New Year, always the first New Moon after the Sun enters Aquarius, because it is a celebration of a quality of adventure born into the collective community.
This year the thematic animal arrives early on January 23rd.

Packing our Dragon-riding kits, being sure not to forget:

*Ashe’ –
the energy of words, and the power of incarnational invitation.
Ashe’ is a Yoruba term, with myriad nuanced meanings we aspire to honor. Somewhat kinned to “chi” energetic flow, vitality in all things, or “cheg” in Siberia.
Primarily it is an invocative phrase, “May the words become manifest!” to direct the flow of chi, vitality. “To make stuff happen.”
But one also speaks of the social flow of ashe’, and ashe’ in the realms of destiny and achievement.

Mars – energy- is stationing in Virgo – (the power of words realm) – upon the U.S. Neptune, (guiding vision, intrinsic soul), on Dragon launch day. (Also conjoining Obama’s Mars and Ron Pauls’ Venus, go figure, suitable for quirky rumination, and well-wishing in the un-folding mystery play.)
Mars will then retrograde back into a grand trine in earth with Jupiter and  Pluto-Mercury….Let each of us pack a customized talisman that represents Magnetizing Metaphors into Matter .

*Tidying up: Because opportunities for composting irritable irascibility are abounding – we pack our harumphitude composter, which folds into a very tiny portable kit.

The Planetary Pattern of now forms an embracing crescent between Jupiter and rising Mars. We discern what to pack and what to leave behind, “separating the subtle from the gross, suavely and with great ingenuity.”
Mars in Virgo also guides us, to discriminate what we eat, food, thought, feelings, as we are getting our energy bodies ready for adventure.(The ancient texts referring to this patterns, say merely, “Green food is condensed solar energy. Make sure you eat enough.”

Venus now mediates in the Piscean realm of her exaltation betwixt Jupiter and Pluto. We cook up vials of empathic compassion with sizzle to take on the journey
She simultaneously prepares the glide path for Neptune to unfurl an ever-expanding repertoire of shape-shifting options, mediating between the waxing Saturn-Jupiter opposition…Opposition  can be guided in a graceful direction (sextile and trine…)….We pack our artfully resolving opposition compass.

Moon in Scorpio trining Venus and Chiron tonight makes Collective Mentoring available for us to continue writing history backwards. (Experimental home-work, team!)
And so we pack our magic pen that writes the desirable story backwards. Telling the story as though the good thing, in the personal and collective realms, has already happened. Everyone write out at least one short (a lot in a little) version, a sentence or two, that we may all together lend it the power of
