Navigating Dark Waters with Jaunty Hearts

The Venus part of ourselves is gathering skookum Medicines in the Underworld, including the “ability to navigate dark waters.” We shall tenderly pack them all in our magic back-packs before we set forth in our canoes at twilight.
Let’s consider the Medicines we’d be wise to gather now for our journey of re-emergence.
We canoe the Underworld Rivers until circa November 18th when with the heliacal rise of Venus, we canoe above the horizon line, emerging with the gift of intimately cahooting with the story-telling Intelligence of Creation.

To the Mayans transitions such as the crossing of the horizon, especially the birth of Venus as s/he rises as the morning star, were considered so dodgily close to death as to require propitiation and preparation for safe, sacred, successful journeying. Let’s consider!
