St. Patrick’s Day *”Super” Full Moon* Vernal Equinox
March 14, 2011
6pm PT, 9pm ET
in complete Cahoots with Trickster Uranus, the myriad Trickster Redeemer Intelligences, from all time and all myth, conjoining the Sun to inaugurate this wild dynamic Spring. We’re dancing into the 2011-2016 Uranus square Pluto field of call and response.Collapse and re-birth heralding indigenuity, fueled by the power of Green fire – the creative will to live, ardent advocacy for all life…
requiring the renouncing of rudeness in its myriad human species expressions from sneaky micro-to nuclear macro.
Given all the roiling suffering in the world – who would be cruel to anything?”
Poetry from pathos: Japanese Culture is so deft in this realm.
Drawing upon the wisdom of Artful Japanese Medicine: Considering Contemplative Cataclysm
to cahoot with kami (animated customized unique life-force in everything ) = true democratic animism.
No other culture, more than that of Japan has the Saturn in Libra mojo . Artful collaboration with indigenous animism:
Sea-water…Japanese nuclear engineers (bless their ingenious and awakening hearts of indigenuity) inviting sea-water to cool the reactors.Sea-water is the energetic acknowledging of the end of those plants. All plants, may it be so. All like a Miyazaki movie: O kami spirit of the sea, we will fore-swear this hubristic technology – if you will literally bail us out of this one. We, as a species, are un-worthy of your sacrifice. Arigato.
Saturn’s image is, “boat-dock wrecked by storms is getting repaired – re-building the framework of one’s enterprise.”
Magnetizing Metaphor into Matter
(with help from Miyazaki!)
and maybe Kurosawa –
whose film “Dreams” has nuclear cataclysm in Japan.
–from ally:”The executive of a nuclear power plant jumps into the sea in the end of one of them. . .
–One childhood dream has him visited by spirits of the peach trees that had been cut down on his parents’ property. . .awesome. . . another has him witness the rare fox wedding march through the forest. .”
We remember fox! (our last New Moon metaphor and) the totemic guide at the end of the I Ching. Hexagram 64. Wei Chi/ Before Completion .
“Before Completion. Success.
But if the little fox, after nearly completing the crossing,
Gets his tail in the water.
There is nothing that would further. The conditions are difficult. The task is great and full of responsibility. It is nothing less than that of leading the world out of confusion back to order. But it is a task that promises success, because there is a goal that can unite the forces now tending in different directions. However, one must move warily, like an old fox walking over ice….”
Fox, crafty shape-shifting animal at home in the dream world (most ancient burial of any animal was recently excavated – and it was fox.)
Karcher’s I Ching associates this final Hexagram with, as Kurosawa dreamed, the prospect of the fox wedding. (“Did you get your invitation yet?” Yes! Did you?” “Ah, we all received our invitations.”)
The fox wedding suggests “all the metaphors of cooking, transforming and being in a continual creative relationship to the process of Change….We are preparing to make a major move or transition. We are on the riverbank, gathering the force to cross. We are preparing the food. We are in the world of potential, the season when the fruit ripens, readying ourselves to embark on the journey…on the verge of important change. Gather your energy to make the decisive new move. You are about to launch a plan, cross the river or overcome an obstacle. The possibilities are great. Be sure your plans are in order and that you have accumulated enough energy to make the crossing without getting stuck. This is pleasing to the spirits. Through it they will give you success, effective power and the capacity to bring the situation to maturity.” Be not like the heedless fox.”The Small Fox who crosses a river to the muddy shores beyond never lets go of her center…You aren’t in the right place yet. But what is supple and what is strong and solid are acting in harmony to move you towards where you belong.”
Super-Moon: On March 19, the moon will loom large in our skies and be at its closest distance from the Earth in 18 years.
And weather bloggers noted there was a supermoon just before the last monster tsunami in Asia on Boxing Day 2004.
This full moon will pass a mere 221,567 miles from our planet.
The event — known as a lunar perigee — happens when a full or new moon comes within 90 per cent of its closest approach possible, resulting in extreme high and low tides. We are guided to work with this rhythm.
So it’s a wild fox wedding we’re off to and let’s meet some of the other guests (and the Foxes say feel free to invite anyone who would be skookum.)
Extremophile Volcanic Deity Pele joins the party: Sunday -“Meanwhile in another display of seismic activity, the Shinmoedake volcano in the southeastern Kyushu region of Japan erupted and broke windows five miles away, according to reports. ”
Middle Eastern guests to join our Fox Wedding Caravanserai: Let’s invite the Queen of Sheba. The powerful Queen of Sheba (Saba) was Queen of Yemen. The Sabaean Civilization of South Arabiai (modern Yemen) and the Queen of Saba’a was famous for its caravans transporting frankincense and spices to Mesopotamia, Eygpt, and Israel. The frankincense trees are native to South Arabia.
We’ll bring some as gifts. And take a deep inhale of that fragrant resin.
(As astrologers we sometimes delineate big changes in the story dynamic, and sometimes people would quip, “well I didn’t notice anything earth-shaking.” Can’t say that now.
The writing is on the wall:
“Mene, Mene, Tekel u-Pharsin!” = the handwriting on the wall.(“originates in the Biblical book of Daniel—where supernatural writing foretells the demise of the Babylonian Empire.” tr.:”Count, weigh money divides the world. Your empire will fall.”
And while we’re at it, to heal the world
“Klatu Barata Niktu!” (the planet-saving chant in pertinetly trippy film “The Day the Earth Stood Still”
in myriad experimental art-forms of collaborative conjuring with the kami of everything.
Now for auspicious journeying let’s say them both together 3 times: “Mene, Mene, Tekel u-Pharsin! Klatu Barata Niktu!”
to seal our sacred cahoots with the kami (customized animated life-force in everything!)
and as a special bonus Bre’r David Grimes will be co-cahooting on this call! to call forth all the allies with whom we desire cahooting.
