I wept when I finished reading Terry Pratchett’s latest, and last novel, “The Shepherd’s Crown.” (he died in March, with so many tales and books still in his mind and on his desk). I was sad, but twas beautiful sad.
Terry Pratchett, is/was one of the great guiding narrative voices – helps so much to add his frame and unique perspective to the story of now,personal and collective. To be a good witch, and yes, in latest and last novel, men can be witches in the form of being “calm-weavers.” And to be an authentic, good witch is to be kind, competent, ask for help, fiercely protective of life….immune to glamour, frippery and pretense…
Just the right amount of curmudgeonitude:
We’ve journeyed through the eclipse (which nonetheless provides it’s ritual magic Virgo cauldron for a good 6 months),
with all of its useful shadow-dancing, woo-hooo!, and consequential clarification

How witty to be a martyr to my phrase about not being a martyr- o adorable confounding-clarifying universe,
encouraging us all to delve and dedicated deeper to that with which we are kinned…
’tis for each of us to come up with our own unique answer and language…that which is greater than us that we call in to resolve kerfuffles, when flummoxed.
Unique – each cultivating uniqueness…..intrinsically liberating and encouraging to all beings….
