I found this charming ‘Wolf Moon” in Llewellyn’s Witches datebook:
“January is called the Wolf Moon…Wolf energy deals in survival through planning and team-work.
The Alpha wolf leads the hunts. The Beta supports the alpha’s decisions. Other wolves come in from the sides. The Omega is the pack’s peacemaker. By taking different roles, they make the pack stronger.
For this ritual you will need a recording of wolves howling, and atleast 5 wolf images. These can be figurines, photos, or whatever else you have. Place the wolves in a circle on your altar and play the howls. Invoke the spirit of wolf for support. Think of what qualities you have that are like a leader, a follower, and a peacemaker. Focus the energy of the Full Moon (* note = day of my free Trickster Shift call. 1 pm est Saturday January 20th, one year from Inauguration- woo-hoo-awooooo) to “encourage” your inner wolves.
Afterwords, turn off the recording; give thanks to the Moon, and the spirit of Wolf. Distribute the wolf images around your home, like a pack scouting through Winter woods, so that you may see them and be inspired as you go through the day.”
And maybe add one, or 5 Coyotes, around the periphery!
So we are each a complete pack, within a pack, within a pack- fractal, fractal, fractal…
And we may further animate on Monday the 25th as Mercury stations to go direct, combining this with our Money Animal theme of yore. (from ally occult novelist Katherine Neville, who said, that years ago, when she was in banking, her financial mentor told her the secret of the “Money Animal.” To make anything daunting – an animated ally. Katherine said that because she is an Aries, her Money Animal was low-maintenance. She would just give it a pat, and send it forth to bring back money and opportunity. And she said it always did. She attributes her Money Animal with the fact that she is now a multi-millionaire. That her books sell fantabulously well. (I heartily recommend my favorites of hers, “The Eight,” and “The Magic Circle.”) She further says, with Aries pluck, “I don’t know why anyone has a problem with money.” (Whoa- may we all add 5 drops of Aries defiant, confident pluck to our Medicine Brew.)
So let’s have an entire pack of Opportunity*Blessing Animals…personal, and customized for our adorable Trickster Training Council pack.

We do not need more “powers,” but to use the considerable powers, endogenous, available to us, in our magic back-pack, along with Dorothy’s slippers. Qualities we’ve always had, but may not have known- Until Now!
So what qualities shall we cultivate to be “skookum”- (“connected to the spirits and completely competent for the tasks at hand.”)-
for the crazy ride ahead?
Experiment experiment, experiment – setting our altars – humming- exponentially resonating with our pack. Trickster say “ no rules, but guidelines,” and “no homework – but home-play!”
I am experimenting with the Shift Network, to produce the magnetizing free call on Saturday, then the 7 week course beginning February 3rd, Mid-Winter, when Persephone lights her candle and begins ascending up from the Underworld – and we with her.
The Shift course will be distinct, with actual Saturn Wolfy structuring,(!!!!!) from our Trickster Training Coyote cahooting.
But our cute team is very important-cherished, as it is back-stage to back-stage, Green Room to Green Room, esoteric to esoteric…
Both will be cross-pollinating…and full of enhanced Reciprocal Blessing…
So, encouraging our team to re-enroll (taking tuition fees through January 2017 – after the Inauguration, because then – who knows?)
and
encouraging our team to consider signing up for the Shift Course as well…Yip-Yip!
