then the ill advised sandwich at midnight –

into food coma – sleeping through several

more episodes of Rake, from which

Stella Coyote roused me late today…

 

It’s come to this – the responsible member

of my household is a Coyote.

Was wondering whether to call a vacation

for tonight (hence late dilly-dallying)

but

Let the Ghastly encourage the Gathering…

as we rededicate to metabolizing

poison into nutrient…

 

as we remember the much more heartening assignment-

that we are even now “Inching the Ring of Power

into the Crack of Doom,”and electing Flora Fauna,

Inaugurating Guiding Story…

actively ignoring our collective shadow.

Then this election can be seen as our nation’s

shadow made obvious and brought to light.

 

This play we have been watching has brought out

all creepy, awful things our country has done,

ignored or turned away from.

 

 

If also, the macro is the micro, could our

personal shadow work point the way for a new,

better age. If we are our own leaders.

 

If our leaders do not offer our collective best

so we can’t project our power onto them,

is this an opportunity to rise in our own power

and do our own inner shadow work as a way

to heal community.

 

If our leaders shadows are available and obvious,

that is what we should pay attention to. Because it

means an opportunity and the end of an age.”

 

and Sheila N. Gig contributes: “May it be so!

Can’t think of a better outcome from this terrible

election season than opportunity taken to work

on our own shadows to heal ourselves as well as

community that is so in need of liberating healing.”

 

Patricia adds: “Yes yes Sheila! All the players

are in their right place and are acting their parts

perfectly. How can we move to a better vibration

and outcome with wonderful leaders? They are

willing to be our most negative expressions of

our society for us to grow.

 

We are biologically compelled to kneel to leadership.

And only if they are a poor excuse for humans can we

break that spell. We can thank them for that that

even though it’s hard to see.

 

As we move out of the house they represent,

close and lock that door, we can then move into

the new one that is light, lovely and luscious.”
