Manavjeet: Because if Mira Nair, my best friend found his mother… the director of photography of Mira’s film, Salaam Bombay, adopted him while he was on set. She traded her Aaton camera to get him out of the country. He is so grateful for his life, which became so different as a result.

Manavjeet: I’m currently an archivist in our rural library in Wyoming – and we went from 4% of our visitors to currently 45% now under the age of 18 – we started making activities to engage children, and even the adults are now playing – which is so splendid 🙂 We persist 🙂

Later that night she ate for the first time in 8 days
The next morning, when I dreamt I was awake , I “saw”- “felt” her nuzzled in bed next to me, as real as anything….”hello sweetie.”
I woke up – so glad …
A day later we came home, and she was once again next to me in bed…
Then I realized what I had really wanted most, was for my little dog to be well.
We dream it, into reality.
