“Star-Craving Mad”: Honoring the Cahoot of Saturn and Jupiter
They will be trining in 2015, and their respective festivals await our desirable animation, within and without.
(the pulsing rhythm of focus to expand to focus, constrict-expand, dedicate to the journey…)
Tonight’s encouragement to the council is for each to conjure myriad creative expressions for the dance of Saturn and Jupiter, as we make available the qualities of Intelligence that each represent.
Thanksgiving- Solstice:
(Jupiter square Saturn)
(Venus in Jupiter’s sign, Mars in Saturn’s sign, providing the choreography of creation’s democratic dance-moves.)
Thanksgiving is Jupiter’s angelic-demonic fest,
not just a colonial Hallmark card, being timed as the first Thursday (dedicated to Jupiter) after the Sun enters Sagittarius, Jupiter’s Realm.
The turkey is the Native American Animal whose Medicine is gratitude and generosity.
As in all things: the shadow of not honoring is to be vulnerable to possession by its demon:
In this instance sanctioned, goaded (all too familiar) Jupiterian gorging gluttony…and more…
Hungry Ghosts: Jupiterian gluttony is goaded by Saturnine fear of “never enough.”
So let’s feed those ghosts (ancestral and customized) what they really crave, that they no longer be “star-craving”mad.
Meanwhile, let us (perhaps) be creatively suspicious
of the excessive use of word “vulnerable,” (“open to wounding”) oft mislabeled as a desirable virtue (encouraging exploration):
vulnerable (adj.)
c.1600, from Late Latin vulnerabilis “wounding,” from Latin vulnerare “to wound, hurt, injure, maim,” from vulnus (genitive vulneris) “wound,” perhaps related to vellere “pluck, to tear” (see svelte), or from PIE *wele-nes-, from *wele- (2) “to strike, wound” (see Valhalla).
Let us toss all tired metaphors into the Solstice cauldron, that, even now is forming in our mind’s eye.
I’m in favor of tossing “wound,” as metaphor, into the cauldron, followed by mis-use of word “vulnerable,” as a pre-requisite to Venusian intimacy.
Ladling out “invincible,” as maybe more fun pre-requisites.
and
All hail Saturn as we dive for the Saturnalia…
inviting Venus to be our Guide
Venus, preparing for her re-emerging, leads the way for
the Sun and Moon (Hi, New Moon!)
and then Saturn (on Cat’s Christmas, December 23rd) to follow her into Sagittarius ..
Saturn will then be in Jupiter’s sign.
Let us be dedicated to exploring (with the accumulated deep delving investigation skills honed in Saturn’s 2+ year journey through Scorpio.
(Saturn will retrograde back into Scorpio next year, to remember this craft.)
We shall explore:Obama’s Immigration speech:New Moon in Sagittarius, Jupiter’s Realm,
Jupiter is now stationing to retrograde back to 12 degrees of Leo in 2015
Uranus at stationing degree, 12 Aries now….
We check Obama part of our dream, Sun 12 Leo, dancing with Trickster, and we with him.)
All that we are to bring into equal accord is resonating:
Venus is in Jupiter’s Realm
Mars in Saturn’s Realm –
let’s have them dance…and explore
explore (v.)
1580s, “to investigate, examine,” a back-formation from exploration, or else from Middle French explorer (16c.), from Latin explorare “investigate, search out, examine, explore,” said to be originally a hunters’ term meaning “set up a loud cry,” from ex- “out” (see ex-) + plorare “to weep, cry.” Compare deplore. Second element also is explained as “to make to flow,” from pluere “to flow.” Meaning “to go to a country or place in quest of discoveries” is first attested 1610s.
Saturn (dedicated practice) and Jupiter (Knowledge, Gnosis gleaned from the Journey) proffer:
“If we all did what we know – we’d all be in great shape!”
Jupiter in Leo emphatically encourages exploration.
Playful dedication is a Saturn -Jupiter, Mars-Venus sacrament
