Waxing Buddha’s Full Moon!
I shall be introducing Lily Yey tonight, hence no tele*Coyote,
however Michele will be providing all subscribed aspiring Tricksters a fresh link to an audio enhanced recording of my conversing with Paul Stamets…
All completely pertinent for this beautiful waxing Moon of desirable commerce between the worlds, where dedicated acts of Beauty invite power into the world and offer it a template of animation.
“Art is the Tracks – not the Animal.”
“Build Living Buddhas not Pagodas”
“We have no art, we simply make everything beautiful.”(Balinese saying)
and the chart for tonight is adorably potent:
North Node of Moon and Moon at the “Men Strain to Escape a Dark Pit; A Woman Calmly Lowers a Rope.”
Mars stationing in Venusian Libra at the “Canoe having passed through rapids – finally reaches calm water,”
trining Mercury – so Venus has her voice, within us all… 9+ Scorpio Rising as the talk begins = the secret rising sign of America “A fellowship supper reunites old allies.”
So, if you are in DC and attending – how splendid! And if not send telepathic cahoots of Reciprocal Blessing….and we are right next to the White House…so let’s transmit…
As young woman at the Peijing School said, “Since Lily guided me to my own creativity – I am no longer willing to accept the fate that was assigned me.” Truly Venus is an agent of the Trickster Redeemer Within Us All!
Dedicated Acts of Beauty Trump Tyranny and Restore Intimacy to the World. We Avert Disaster by Considering Beauty.
Lily Yeh, is among my favorite humans, and most inspiring radio guests. Let Beauty be honored as the sine qua non of culture. ‘Tis art that weaves relationship into structure, that allows everything replenishing to then fill the community. Lily works with the broken parts of all of us to heal communities through art in Philadelphia, Haiti, Rwanda, China, Ecuador, Kenya, Syria, Italy, and is just now returming from Palestine, that we all may be agents of the world blooming again at this time of Dire Beauty.”Looks like a prison – must be a school.” (great late ally Zen Master Wu Bong)…Lily inspires us all to be the antidote. Here be the Corcoran Invitation, for which tickets are free, but encourage reservations, as ’tis a small venue, and we will be full. So if you do make a reservation, please to keep that commitment to attend, or release the space for another. The Corcoran Gallery of Art and Corcoran College of Art and Design invite you to attend2014 Dudley Memorial Lecture: Lily YehMonday, May 12; 7 p.m.Free; Pre-registration encouraged
“Art is the tracks not the animal.” “Build living Buddha’s not Pagodas.”At the 2014 Dudley Family Lecture, Yeh reminds us, that it is time for Art, in all of us, to once again assume cultural leadership. In her fantabulous book, “Awakening Creativity,” (for sale, and signing at event) delineating her work at the Dandelion School, the only school for the children of migrant workers in Beijing, one of the students said, “Since Lily sparked my own creativity – I am no longer willing to accept the fate that was assigned me.”
The Dudley family established in 1984 this endowment fund to secure in perpetuity the annual Dudley Memorial lecture, a program which provides memorable and enriching cultural experiences to diverse audiences.
