TELE*COYOTE COMMUNING (9.30.2013)

Navigating the Noire of Now

to align with dynamic harmony, may it be so.
Dark of Moon, back-stage council. What shall we compost or bind, and what shall we animate and encourage?

The Sun sauntering through Libra,

brings artful grace to turbulence in the field,  encountering sequentially the keepers of the Meta-Guiding Story;

first squaring Pluto(Tuesday  9:25 pm edt);
then opposing Uranus (Thursday 10:12 am edt, darkest dark of Moon, New Moon Friday)
then squaring Jupiter (October 12th.)

And where be Venus, presiding over this Season of increasing Night?
In Scorpio the midnight realm of  Mars intrigue, delighted to dive into the dark;
square Mars and the Moon in Leo, to illumine the dark.

Moon quintiles Mercury in Scorpio, creatively excessive dark sizzle available;
Mercury trines Neptune (tomorrow) providing a full unfurling repertoire of mythological imagery eager to be invited to the party.

Seconding that would be Venus’ quintile to Juno at 4+ Aquarius – “the council of ancestors-a young leader listens to their voices.” Thanks for that, the Unseen Ancestral Team is willing to provide on-stage relief, if we invite them to do so.

Venus also quintiles Vesta, (“expressionist artist degree) encouraging us to make micro-flame altars to keep the hearth signal glowing.

And all wittily guiding us to the New Moon Friday evening (8:34 pm): “Coal Miners Emerging From the Mine into the Sunlight.” Together let’s animate perfect noire.

p.s.: We shall also gaze upon the March 23rd, 2010 date of Obama signing the “Affordable Care Act” , Sun in Aries, conjoining Uranus square Pluto, Square Saturn in Libra, square Moon in Cancer, to see the resonant to now grand Square in Cardinal Signs:

  1. OCTOBER 1, 2013
    September 28

    If I had been paying attention, I might have noticed the warning signs. Fires were breaking out across the state and raging out of control; a house in our neighborhood burned down to the ground; and a useless fire extinguisher came to light during a cleanup spree, forgotten and covered with dust. But it took the rats to finally point out to me the danger hidden in plain sight in my studio – that smoking rags by the hot water heater in the corner were about to burst into flames.
    I had stuffed the rags in there several years ago when rodents had found their way into a crack between the wall and the hot water pipes during the rainy season, and then had promptly forgotten about them. Neither raccoons nor mice had shown up again so when I entered the studio one morning last week and the place stank – rat poop, by the size of the turds – and began a wild cleanup, that’s when I discovered the old rags scorched black and hot to the touch.
    “Oh, dear Ratty,” as Toad might have said, “You have done me a good turn, you dear blessing in disguise!” Blessed rat poop saved the day, and not a moment too soon.
    Today, walking to an event where a friend was being honored, the idea for this piece came to me along with the first few sentences. I needed to get them down or they’d be gone, but this writer had neither pen nor paper with her, though you’d think I would know better. I tried memorizing the lines as I walked, considered ringing a doorbell and asking for pen and paper, then just prayed for someone to drop them in my path. That’s what worked. By the next block, there was an ad flyer littering the curb and a few paces on, a busted mechanical pencil with just enough lead left for a few sentences.
    You never know… On another day that paper and busted pencil might have been just so much trash in the street, the rat poop simply a mess to clean up. But as it happened they were signs of benevolence from the universe, serendipities indicating that there was help to be had if I kept my mind and heart open to them – a blessing in disguise.

    October 1
    Sign-ups for Obamacare are starting right now; Republicans in Congress have shut down the government; far-right extremists are raising the roof. It’s rat-poop time – where’s the smoke?
    I believe it is the right moment to look beyond all the political hoo-hah for the opportunities lurking in the cracks. How? My plan is to sit as quietly as possible these next few days, finding my own stillpoint and envisioning the world I wish to live in. I will speak this vision as if it already exists.
    In this world people are balanced and kind to one another, care for the welfare of all, share the abundance we are given and use their innate intelligence well. Grown-ups are mature but also playful, and children are cherished and free. Government and technology and economies are opportunities for human creativity, and education is as wonderful a learning place for teachers as it is for students. The natural world is beautiful and safe from human predation.
    If there are enough of us visioning a world of peace, compassion and creative excitement, the energy will coalesce until it reaches a critical mass. All we need is 51%.
    Breathe.
    Pass it on. Carolyn North
