The Theatrical New Moon just behind us, the adventure of Hermetic micro-mojo word-weaving Virgo before us…
We engage in refining, honing our word play, editing the non-essential, to magnetize into the immediate.
My Ancestor speech professor, Hestor Provenson, was dauntingly adorably ferocious. When someone would begin a speech with, “What I want to speak with you about today.” Hestor would boom, “We don’t care what you want – just hit it!” We may say , “I want to see,” and transform into the more magically invitationally efficacious immediate, “Let’s see,” or “We see,” this desirableness.
With Saturn-Mars, we have begun weaving our Grandmother spider web of energetic boundaries (the tensile strength of Spider web.) The Medicine of Artful Strength.
There be metaphors to be gleaned in these here facts:
The dragline silk which makes up the spokes of the spider’s web is an amazing chemical design. Two proteins are used in these strands. Each protein contains three regions with distinct properties. The first takes a form that is called amorphous. An amorphous material is a plastic material like bubble gum that is stretchable. This is what gives the spider’s web its huge elasticity so when the spider’s prey hits the web, it stretches and does not break. Embedded in the amorphous material are two kinds of crystalline material. These crystalline materials toughen the web. They are tightly pleated and resist stretching, but only one of them is truly rigid. The pleats of the less rigid material anchor the rigid crystals to the matrix producing massive strength.
Chemists are learning new things from examining the web materials. One reason why scientists have studied spider webs is that all of the chemical design found in the spider web has enormous applications for new fabrics and fibers, bullet-proof vests and even artificial tendons.
It is obvious that a master chemist designed something to meet the needs of arachnid creatures. Man’s ability to copy what God has done continues to give us solutions to the needs we have.”

And let’s play with all spider facts and their metaphorical guidance: Spinning: Many orb weaving spiders recycle their webs to save their time and strength. They do this by eating the silk, which is full of protein. They only leave the main thread to start a new web the next day.
spiderlings – adorable term for baby spiders…We might think of our incipient stories as spiderlings. That story’s got legs. Eight legs.
Spiders can travel by ballooning -releasing a long thread from their abdomen to catch the wind! Wafting! Let’s add this to our metaphoric skill set. So many ways to travel.
O Beautiful! Tonight the Old Moon can be seen in the New Moon’s Crescent arms after sunset with Mars and Saturn…
That Moon and Venus in mutual reception, form a dynamic Grand Square with Uranus and Pluto.. within the web we are weaving, whereby to artful engage in highest play.
