Slowing way down to speed up.
Jupiter Christmas: How glorious to see Venus after sunset at “The Mystery Egg Beginning to Hatch” degree with Jupiter stationing in Venusian Taurus  at “the Pristine Mountain Stream” degree.
And this Monday night, a beautiful vision, around 6 pm, of Venus with the crescent New Moon.
This is a timely incarnational mega-magic moment of magnetizing metaphor into matter.

Play with Light and Dark Practice
from many traditions, chod in Tibetan Buddhism:

*Inhale Light into our bodies – and exhale all the dark bleakness, harumphitude and old funk…
(for a while…a few breaths to a few minutes for starters)

Then! Hold onto your hat, or – spiral your hat into the air! Take your pick.
*Inhale the World’s Darkness – and exhale Irridescent dancing light…..

The former makes us skookum for the latter.
We shall practice, so for now, micro homeopathic mini-experimenting is appropriate.
We flush out our melancholy (which means literally “black bile.” ( I just down-loaded the OED etymology app! so I am even more etymologically enthused! A maven of etymolgy. “Maven” = “self-proclaimed connoisseur.”)

Saturn is still at the degree: “Man in Deep Gloom, Unnoticed, A Circle of Glowing Angels Descends Around Him…depression dispersed by a healing spiritual illumination.”
And Saturn glides along a trine (120 degree angle) to Neptune still at the degree: “Metamorphosis Completed, A Butterfly Emerges Into a Beautiful New World…evolution of consciousness; piercing though dream-like unconscious assumptions, illumining the truth with surprising humor.”

“Wrought” means “fashioned by labor and art.”
Invocation…Our Compassionate Trickster Experimental Juju Mystery School is becoming well wrought. We have great new team-mates joining us now. The gang’s all here, and getting more so. We are magnetizing.
All endeavours have their presiding Guiding Intelligence (deity), (We shall play with this. A lot.) often referenced, yet aloof. For a time. But the dedicated conversation serves as an invitational signal. And then, the deity descends into the prepared template. (Saturn) Voudoun speaks of this, “Divine Horsemen – the Vodoo Gods of Haiti,” in which the deity rides us. Santeria speaks of this as the deity descending into the head.
I hosted Michael Gruber, the author of “Night of the Jaguar,” on radio last Thursday, Winter Solstice. I recommend listening, for distilled pertinence, on magical human alliance with the animal-plant world to protect life. And the tricky experimental reverence required in this realm. We shall explore “Ally Etiquette.”

Much to-ing and fro-ing, call and response, alliances forming. We guide, we are guided, we listen – we are heard.

Saturn trining Neptune’s headline now reads,”All News is Dream News.”

We have stellar dreamers on our team which hums that frequency for us all.
Many of our team are having significant waking and dreaming encounters with animals: saphire quayle dove, sharks, coyotes, elk, duck-billed platypus, bobcat, jaguar (and let us know who else is showing up.) Co-operators Are Standing By. (We await them and we are them.) Alliances want to be cahooted. We are called to respond. (“respond” is from “re + spondere = to make a solemn engagement.”)

To better dance into accord with Dream Winter, to integrate the above with the below, we shall be considering The Emerald Tablet of Hermes .

The author is said to be Hermes Trismegistus (“Hermes the Thrice-Greatest”), a legendary syncretizing of the Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian god Thoth.

One translation, by Isaac Newton, found among his alchemical papers in modern spelling:

1. Tis true without lying, certain most true.
2. That which is below is like that which is above that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracles of one only thing.
3. And as all things have been arose from one by the mediation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.
4. The Sun is its father, the moon its mother,
5. the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth its nurse.
6. The father of all perfection in the whole world is here.
7. Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth.
   • Separate thou the earth from the fire, the subtle from the gross sweetly with great industry.
8. It ascends from the earth to the heaven again it descends to the earth and receives the force of things superior and inferior.
9. By this means ye shall have the glory of the whole world thereby all obscurity shall fly from you.
10. Its force is above all force. for it vanquishes every subtle thing and penetrates every solid thing.
    • So was the world created.
11. From this are and do come admirable adaptations whereof the means (Or process) is here in this.
12. Hence I am called Hermes Trismegist, having the three parts of the philosophy of the whole world.
13. That which I have said of the operation of the Sun is accomplished and ended.

Arabic translation:A new translation bypassing the Latin has just been published by Nineveh Shadrach from the original Arabic of Book on the Secret of Creation (also named Book of the Causes) attributed to Apollonius of Tyana.^[3]

1. It contains an accurate commentary that can’t be doubted.
2. It states: What is the above is from the below and the below is from the above. The work of wonders is from one.
3. And all things sprang from this essence through a single projection. How marvelous is its work! It is the principle [sic] part of the world and its custodian.
4. Its father is the sun and its mother is the moon. Thus the wind bore it within it and the earth nourished it.
5. Father of talismans and keeper of wonders.
6. Perfect in power that reveals the lights.
7. It is a fire that became our earth. Separate the earth from the fire and you shall adhere more to that which is subtle than that which is coarse, through care and wisdom.
8. It ascends from the earth to the heaven. It extracts the lights from the heights and descends to the earth containing the power of the above and the below for it is with the light of the lights. Therefore the darkness flees from it.
9. The greatest power overcomes everything that is subtle and it penetrates all that is coarse.
10. The formation of the microcosm is in accordance with the formation of the macrocosm.
11. The scholars made this their path.
12. This is why Thrice Hermes was exalted with wisdom.
13. This is his last book that he hid in the catacomb.

0) Here is that which the priest Sagijus of Nabulus has dictated concerning the entrance of Balinas into the hidden chamber… After my entrance into the chamber, where the talisman was set up, I came up to an old man sitting on a golden throne, who was holding an emerald table in one hand. And behold the following – in Syriac, the primordial language- was written thereon:
1) Here (is) a true explanation, concerning which there can be no doubt.
2) It attests: The above from the below, and the below from the above -the work of the miracle of the One.
3) And things have been from this primal substance through a single act. How wonderful is this work! It is the main (principle) of the world and is its maintainer.
4) Its father is the sun and its mother the moon; the
5) wind has borne it in its body, and the earth has nourished it.
6) the father of talismen and the protector of miracles
6a) whose powers are perfect, and whose lights are confirmed (?),
7) a fire that becomes earth.
7a) Separate the earth from the fire, so you will attain the subtle as more inherent than the gross, with care and sagacity.
