Halloween to Day of the Dead – All Souls’ Day to True Halloween’s cross-quarter Holy Day – the Scorpio Gate of Power

The commerce between the visible and the invisible, the sensually manifest and the wooo-hooo, glides and swooshes to and fro as the Taurus-Scorpio Full Moon waxes.

A resonant rhythm of reflective rumination: Venus, and Mercury in Scorpio invite us to consider our lives as spiritual detective tales, in which the Ancestors are especially eager to provide more clues in the realm of deep-delving reverie.

From their square to Neptune in Aquarius, stationing at the birth of new stage of culture degree, wafts intriguing invitations for us us to meld our unique ancestrally guided skills to the meta-story dynamic of now.

Mars in Leo provides the ritual theatrical dynamic, “A Large Camel Crossing the Desert…adventure, questing, resilience, dashing mobility.” We’re all camels, or riding camels, with our Saturnine goats trotting beside, as we accompany the King of the Fairies returning to His Domain (Mercury’s symbol).

Inspired by Venus’ “Inca Princess Pleads for the Life of Her Children,” we, as aspiring Tricksters, transcend the merely human limitations of our concerns.. The lives for which we plead are for all souls, all beings, all ancestors in the plant, animal realms, and for all invisible, future life.

November 6th is Encircling the White House Day (“atmos-spheros”) to suck the chi out of the Tar Sands Pipeline, and all it represents, and exhale vitality into the nascent green economy.

We prepare for the birth of the Guiding Earth Wisdom Story on Christmas Day, when Jupiter stations direct at 0 Taurus, “A Clear Mountain Stream of pristine purity,” flowing into every heart.

And ooh, Sun, at mega-considering-shadow Scorpio degree, quintiles the Moon in Capricorn (we shall discuss and conjure this Moon convening the Council of Grandmothers) which quintiles Uranus at the Comedian degree…Shadow can be funny, and if it’s not funny, at least we can be.
