I met Caroline in 1971 in London when she, Ananda Bagley and I were the only circa 20-year-olds attending meetings at the Astrological Lodge of the Theosophical Society and nearly the only ones at the Astrological Assoc. The elderly members of the Lodge tried to discourage us as not truly serious about astrology. We fooled them! Ananda went on to become a pioneer in British computer astrology. As a fellow tarot enthusiast Caroline first introduced me to Builders of the Adytum (BOTA). Caroline and I have met up about every decade since then and the three of us were together at a major astrology conference in Monterey CA in, I believe, 1995, when my book Women of the Golden Dawn, using astrology as a biographical tool, came out.”
