The Trickster Craft of:
Becoming a Cultural Blessing Being by Remembering “the Cave of Forgotten Dreams”…

I’m just returned from the Great Mother Conference, a rich cultural brew, stirred by dedicated, colorful, befoibled characters
of whom I return with my favorite – great poet and mentor of poets, Chiron-being, Fran Quinn, who will join our call tonight, with poetry
and enticing morsels of a fairy tale, portions of which he told at the conference: “I go I know not where to bring back I know not what.”
Clearly aptly pertinent to our circumstance, as Neptune, symbolic fairy tale literacy, in its own sign of Pisces, the repository of all “forgotten dreams,” sextiles story-telling genius Jupiter. Story-telling Genius has returned to the earthy realm of incarnational mystery, after 12 years of journeying .

Jupiter joins the Mars-Venus courtship, already in progress. The sacrament for this marriage is desiring what we love, and loving what we desire. The desire for beauty, the dedication to Art, yearns to become manifest. If we honestly answer the query, “What do you desire?” “What do you love?” the gate to the party swings wide open. Our dedication is the invitation card we show to the Goat with the guest list.

The blue-bird of happiness swoops over-head (Ascendant and North Node). The Moon symbol tonight provides the ancestral back-up music: “Zuni Indians Perform a Ritual to the Sun…Taking part in a bigger picture, saluting the divine through one’s daily routines, collective spirit encouraged by individual fire.” “From darker places of the heart, we rise to play a greater part,” chimes in Breer Leonard Cohen.

Getting ready for the party: Jupiter quintiles Vesta. “Aspire to gently divest our-selves of all impediments to that dedication.”

We have a rich feast of endings and beginnings. Generous, redemptive fresh starts are available by cahooting with the guiding planetary meta-story of now.
Saturn stations, gathering in his/her sails the winds of this past New Moon solar eclipse in Gemini. After the party, we make ready to sail in with a tide of new cultural leadership.
