Whit Monday!

Yo Team,
yesterday was Pentecost Whit Sunday…
This year t’was as the Sun entered
communicative Gemini, which gives
metaphoric magic back-up.

Pentecost, a pretty great metaphor,
is when a fiery dove descends
onto the head of each disciple,
granting them the capacity to speak and
understand all language (and we,
honoring Uranus in animistic Taurus,
include all Flora Fauna languages)…

We are willing
(Let’s wave our arms
to receive the Holy Dove!)

tis also called Whit Sunday,
and is a Big Deal in the Arthurian legends….

Tis on Whit Sunday, that Arthur is coronated,
having drawn the sword from the stone…
(And on Whit Sunday, the stone disappears,
having fulfilled its purpose…)

“Queste del Saint Graal,”
describes the Grail appearing in magical
mystery manner at Whitsuntide, just as Arthur,
and his knights are sitting down to dinner.

“A clap of thunder sounded, followed by a brilliant ray of light. The Grail then entered, covered with white velvet, without being carried by anyone, and the chamber was filled with a pleasant fragrance. As it went round the table each person was served with the food he desired.”

(We add “she”)

(and for mythic de-harumphituding, honoring
the mythos in all of our collective dream…
Percival can only attain the Grail,
the Wasteland restored to blooming,
when he unites with his half-black
secret twin. Meghan Merkle marrying
Prince Harry will suffice…
Tis when Percival’s mother dies
an untimely death, that he sets forth
on his mis-adventures, through which
he matures… and helps to redeem the world.)

That the world be re-infused by Spirit ….

“‘Whitsun’ is also thought to derive from the Anglo-Saxon word ‘wit,’ meaning ‘understanding,’ to celebrate the disciples being filled with
the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.”

“Pentecost Monday is still a public holiday in many European countries, such as France, Germany and Belgium. Within Christianity the day is still popular for baptisms, while some churches hold Whit Walks.
Folk traditions such as cheese rolling and morris dancing also have long-standing associations with Whit Sunday-Monday.”

From The Independent

Feel free to roll cheese, baptize everything,
liberate all customs by playful dedication…

And, look Mary holds the “banish fear,”
“Wakanda forever” mudra…

Mercury guides the Sun in Gemini,
at a particularly fabulous degree:
(Steve Eardley’s Sabian)
“A stranger walks into town
in the midst of a wild and-storm,
wearing a silk top hat,
carrying a large black bag…
Doctor-Magician, strong instinctual
connection to nature, despite external
sophistication; divination.”

Part of our communicative language skills
in stranger’s large, black bag – Satire…

The Onion, not holding back:
“Trump Fascinated By Israeli Cultural Tradition
Of Mass Slaughter Of Protesters” Article

To which a Mr Cohen reacted:
“Not funny!”

to which I responded:
“Purpose of Satire:
The appropriate object of satire is never funny…
Jonathan Swift, suggesting that the British eat
Irish babies, was not funny either – but leads us to
liberating lucidity, illuminates the obscene, meant to
awaken our empathic outrage, as fuel whereby to
compost cruelty. (p.s. the origin of the exclamation
mark, is a Greek stage direction, “IO,” meant
“to be delivered with great joy!”)”

Sun trines Mars in Aquarius at the
“deserter from the navy, following
their own wilderness path,” degree –
contribution of the out-sider part of all of us…

1st quarter Moon, as we convene, from
show-biz Leo, revealing all necessary secrets
into Virgo, Hermetic word-craft…

Much with which to play and animate,
according to our own wise autonomy…
