We don’t yet have to be “good,” phew, because this is the Dark of the Moon pre-Eclipse (4:03 AM Tuesday January 4th),
– still casting off – transmuting Old Business – feel free! to have low external energy- deep inner Winter incubation.
However – this Eclipse quintiles (irresistable eloquence) the exact Jupiter-Uranus conjunction which chimes in:

“Don’t you be so sad and blue – you’ve got witches looking after you!”

What do we want eclipsed and by what?!? (setting the tone for our spirit juju Congress. For every limited secular human enterprise, we shall set up a spirit juju guiding counter-part.) We are willing to release our complicity in any non-useful perversity, any non-pleasurable crises.

Into the eclipse cauldron let’s toss the passivity of tired language and out-worn metaphor and ‎”For God sakes do not hope, nor fear, nor regret – the bogles (underworld demons) are attracted to those because they are vulnerably weak,” say the Wee Free Men in Terry Pratchett’s novels.

Jupiter-Uranus  augures the increasing effectiveness of our dedication  to the liberating power of stories, language, metaphor and myth.

First, they are in late Pisces, (Sabian for 28 Pisces: “A fertile Garden Under a Full Moon is Strangely Alive,” cahooting with vital forces of Nature…) back-stage dreaming, and as Mathew Arnold guides: “to be cultured is to be aware of the highest possibilities of the human spirit throughout time.”
Good for starters, as each of us is responsible for tracking, by affinity, the realm of research to which we are increasingly synchronously magnetized.
The journey of 2011 (confident dignity travelling across thresholds) begins this week, as we track the Jupiter and Uranus parts of ourselves through 2011…
And we , of course, then expand beyond humans, by simply deleting that limiting adjective:
“to be cultured is to be aware of the highest possibilities of spirit throughout time,” as we are in collaborative cahoots with the spirit ingenuity of all the flora and fauna.

To which realm of kinned nature are we each willing to be Ambassadors? The question attracts the answer. Saturn (our dedication) is exalted in Libra. May we  dedicate to being pattern-trackers, in love with symmetry, and agents of dynamic beauty. Saturn squares the Sun this week, not to fret: Saturn says, “uh-oh, might get something done.”
Let all kerfuffles be relevant incentives for Trickster experimentation. And as always, but increasingly,
Co-Operators Are Standing By!
By shape-shifting our language and metaphors, the molecules of manifestation follow along in happy cahoots.
We toss all out-worn linguistic habits and metaphors into the Winter Cauldron to offer energy and power fresh garb whereby to enter our personal and collective lives.

Because – this unfolding year’s mega-theme – Jupiter and Uranus will journey from the last sign of the zodiac, from which we fill our magic back-packs with poetry, fairy tales, ancient lore, INDIGENUITY) to Aries, the first. Fresh start, fresh expression – the dreams to which we dedicate now, will move cross the threshold from the imaginal to the actual….
