Aloha Caroline,

Gordon Fuller here, blind Indian from Oregon eclipse festival hub stage. K Aloha and I very much we’re thrilled to meet you in person as we feel we are intimately acquainted with you through your gifting of radio waves. Indeed we have enjoyed your shows since the eclipse and were touched by your shout out to me during your recent Tuesday broadcast. We are living part-time in Hawaii and part time in San Francisco bay area and would be delighted to visit whenever our paths are intersecting.

By way of for the background on us, Kealoha and I are filmmakers working with new media where I’ve designed, developed technologies and launched ventures aimed at community building and empowering people through improved access to information. Current projects include: Augmented Reality wayfinding system www.Waytuit.com; consulting services focused on creative strategies/programs for civic/customer engagement www.AccessibleHelp.com public speaking/life coaching/film/TV/VR/AR production company www.fullervision.com; educational documentary history series focused on the historic Disability Rights/Independent Living Movements www.ItsOurStory.com; cofounder/past president Hawaii based environmental nonprofit focused on bioregenerative solutions for water, food, energy and housing

we do what we can to make a difference, current focus on completing my book: ‘Age Of Awareness’ which was the theme of my talk at symbiosis Oregon eclipse festival. I’m also speaking and workshops as I’ve learned quite a bit from my experience as an artist losing my eyesight. When I was first made aware of the progressive vision loss I was 19 years old and I told myself then there may be some wisdom from the experience which as an artist I may someday share. I believe the time has arrived especially since in the next 45 days I have the possibility of restoring my eyesight through a new gene therapy. For this I’ll be in Philadelphia October 21 through 27th. this Tuesday, September 19 I’ll be traveling to Honolulu where I’ll be until October 3 when I travel to Hartford Connecticut Yale University where I am launching my Fall speaking tour. I trust our paths will cross in the soon to be and we shall share our coyote medicine stories together.

Also from Gordon Fuller:

We are at the dawning of a new ‘Age of Awareness.’ We imagine Artificial Intelligence, and deep learning neural networks may come together to catalyze our human potential. We are weaving a new social fabric where everything we do can contribute to a greater good. Human evolution paired with appropriate use of new technologies will enhance our capacity for understanding and taking responsibility for our role in making the changes we want to see happen. What form will best suit Humanities’ reconnection with the natural world? How can mankind learn to be the solution as much as we have become the problem?

Yo team!

Am off – Saturday – to visit with Mayumi on the Big Island, with Hanuman.

One of the true supportive homes for Visionary Activism & Pragmatic Mysticism.

Am very engaged in Reciprocal Blessing adventures.

Swimming in the pond at Occidental Arts & Ecology

was to feel the embrace of land

that has been lovingly cooperatively stewarded for 30 years.

And to be hosted by my long time allies,

who are tending their grandson, who just turned 1! During the day.

And to feel the great foundation of loving encouraging essence nourishment – they are weaving for him.

Truly – May all land & all children be honored with such!

We are attuned to how it all wants to be,

& willing to be agents of such weird.

Appreciative yip- yip for all reciprocal blessings.

Will be in touch as inner & outer journey unfurls. We are in cahoots!

Cooperators are standing by!

Standing firm with love for Mauna Kea, Kapu Aloha

Last week I went to Mauna Kea to be with many of my close Hawaiian friends and fellow activists who are protesting and working to stop the construction of the Thirty Meter Telescope, (TMT ) atop our highest and most sacred mountain, Mauna Kea. My friends, my family and I have been involved over the years as protesters or protectors, as we consider ourselves to be. It has become a real Hawaiian movement for standing firm with love.

I took my Hanuman thangka “Hanuman Guardian and Protector of the World, over Big Island, Island of Rainbows, in the center of the Pacific, holding the Earth in his hands.”
I took it to the mountain once before when it was painted, in 2016, specifically to support the Protectors of Maunakea, with whom I stand in solidarity.

My Hanuman is in honor of the Fire Monkey, who brings passion, creativity and truth.
I dedicate this to those who work to tell the truth, to give young people hope for the future,
to inspire their passion and creativity to visualize the future in more positive ways for this world that we live in together.

This conflict over Mauna Kea has gone on for many years. Astronomers see Mauna Kea as one of the best locations for exploring into the deep space as it is the highest mountain in the world when measured from the ocean floor. But for Native Hawaiians, Mauna Kea, is sacred ground.

Mauna Kea is meant to be protected and preserved to benefit the sustainability of future Native Hawaiians. And so, the protectors have gathered there, on the mountain, or Mauna, that has already been desecrated many times before by other observatories, by poor planning, broken promises and lack of respect for the wishes of the Native Hawaiian community. Mauna Kea protectors are protecting the now (present time) and preserving the future.

May we protect the now and preserve the future.
